Tuesday 29th of November Training day -1 for university staff

Objectives:

  • to formulate personal action plan related to the PDP and the training programs in spring semester 2012
  • to inform about educational development in sustainable food production in EU
  • to develop the QA and feedback system in the training program

16 participants from WBC expected, 8 trainers expected (total 24 people)
 

09.00 – 10.00 general introduction, objectives and assignment for the day, EQF principle and competence based learning principles (VHL-Ben Rankenberg)
10.00 – 12.30 training development of development agenda in interaction with professional field - part 1 (VHL – Hans Glas, supported with participants from other EU partners)
12.30 -13.30 lunch
13.30 – 16.30 training development of development agenda in interaction with professional field - part 2 (VHL – Hans Glas, supported with participants from other EU partners)
16.30 – 17.00 conclusions: definition of spring program 2012 on individual level (VHL – Ben Rankenberg)

Wednesday 30th of November Training day nr 2 for university staff
Objectives:

  • inform university staff by EU partners about knowledge and methods to be applied in development of its human resources regarding ecologic food production and management (showing insight in the training program spring semester 2012)
  • to make co-operation plans on institutional level and between institutes in development of the modules
  • to select the module titles and contents to be developed in the EDU-ECO project
09.00 – 10.00 co-operation between partner countries and eu-countries in order to develop the new modules

12.00 – 12.30 workshop selection and prioritizing modules to be developed in small groups – part 1 (preparation VHL, Frans Verweij and Ben Rankenberg, execution supported with participants from other EU partners)
12.30 – 13.30 lunch
13.30 – 15.30 workshop selection and prioritizing modules to be developed in small groups – part 2
15.30 – 16.30 plenary discussion about the selection of the modules, outcome is a module list and provisional motivation why these modules are selected
16.30 – 17.00 Evaluation and reporting

End results:

Conclusions regarding staff development, institutional development, and network organisation development
Homework assignment:

  • institutional and personal application of outcomes of opening conference
  • prepare for program spring 2012
  • specific homework from specific trainers in the spring training program
